After hearing Jay-Z´s first Album, I knew this is what I wanted to do". This is the answer you are going to get if you ask Young Niko what made him want to rap. Born in ATL his father soon joined the U.S. Army to make sure the young families existence is secured which brought them to Europe for some time. Being in a foreign Country not knowing anybody Niko found his love for Rap music, he remembers: „Coming home from school recording songs on my old boombox is all I did everyday" He started to write down rhymes bout things he saw and went trough back In the streets. At the age of 17 he recorded his first song in a „real" studio and tried to hook up with different rappers, R&B singers and producers but had to learn that mostly they are not willing to put in enough time and work to make their dreams come true but he did not let that get him of track He stayed focused, sharpened his flow and took every change he could get to work in the music biz like opening shows for several Hip Hop acts. He got compliments from Hip Hop legend Keith Murray after dropping a freestyle for him at a club, Keith Murray was so impressed with his style and lyrical delivery that he even gave him his private celly number right after hearing him flow. Well some time has gone by since then and now Niko is ready to show that he has got what it takes.
